The Naked Skirt project emerged from an idea that was brewing while I was completing my final thesis project. After months of research on leather molding and treatment, I decided to bring this garment to life. Inspired by the vibes of the Y2K era, humor, and a touch of edginess, this pleated skirt was born. Its upper part mimics the human body, while the lower part consists of fabric pleats that appear to drape, almost revealing the intimate parts of the wearer.
The artistic direction of the photo shoot plays with the "naked" element by layering nude tones and transparencies in an environment that also seems halfway unfinished.
